Same Mission, Different Name!

In 2025, after careful consideration and reflection, we decided to disaffiliate from our national organization, effective June 1, 2025. This decision was thoughtfully considered and rooted in our desire to better serve the changing needs of El Paso County and our community partners. As we transition into a new era of service, our mission to support the local community and the operation of our Bargain Box thrift store will remain the same. We will continue our commitment to improving the well-being of children, families, and neighbors in need under our new name, B-COS We Care for Our Community. We remain dedicated to fostering positive change in the El Paso County community. One of the many changes we had to make was to replace all of our signage. Over 25 signs had to be changed on one of the hottest days this month! Thanks Greg and Rege!

Donation of Winter Coats!

A wonderful thank you to Catherine and Two Men and a Truck for their wonderful donation of coats, gloves, scarves, hats, and blankets. Their continued support of Mary’s Challenge helps so many in our community. Thank you!

Family Success Center Block Party!

The Family Success Center held their second event this year…a Block Party. They had many different vendors for neighbors in the community, such as food trucks, police department, Sunny Side Market Information, 211 Information, haircuts, vaccinations, and many more. B-COS We Care gave out 750 backpacks, 350 clothing items, and three tables of hard goods.
